01The statement

This site and these projects are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Microsoft, Adobe, Apple, Google, Anthropic, OpenAI, DeepSeek, Autodesk, Avid, Image-Line, Ableton, dotPDN, Blackmagic Design, Figma, Inc., Corel Corporation, or any other commercial company mentioned. Product names appear only to indicate which proprietary software, service or file format each open-source feature is an alternative to or works with.

“These projects” means WorkCraft Workspace, WorkCraft AI and this website. They are made by visoire and contributors as an independent, free, open-source community effort, and they are in alpha.

02Not an official ArtCraft product

WordCraft, GridCraft, DeckCraft, PdfCraft and the other Craft apps are open-source apps made by the ArtCraft team and contributors (github.com/storytold) under MIT OR Apache-2.0. WorkCraft builds on them: it opens their official builds as panels of one workspace and lets an AI assistant drive them through MCP.

One app is not from the ArtCraft team: SolidCraft is made by tangency-labs (github.com/tangency-labs/solidcraft), and WorkCraft is independent of tangency-labs too.

WorkCraft is not an official product of the ArtCraft team, is not owned, run or endorsed by it, and does not use the ArtCraft name or logos as its own branding. The ArtCraft team is credited for the apps it made. Bugs in an app itself belong in that app's repository. Bugs in the workspace, the AI assistant, WorkCraft AI or this website belong to WorkCraft.

03Companies and trademarks

The following names belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility or to say what an open-source feature is an alternative to: Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe (Acrobat, Photoshop and other products), Apple (iPad, iPadOS, Safari, Apple Pencil, Magic Keyboard, Stage Manager), Autodesk, Avid, Image-Line, Ableton, dotPDN, Blackmagic Design, Figma, Inc., Corel Corporation, and any other company or product named on this website or in the documentation.

A logo or product name appearing here does not mean that company has reviewed, approved or supports WorkCraft. WorkCraft contains no code from those products and claims no rights in their names.

04AI providers and tools

WorkCraft connects to AI models and tools made by others, with your own account and key: Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (ChatGPT), Google (Gemini, Google Drive), DeepSeek, xAI (Grok), Zhipu AI (GLM), Mistral AI, Groq, Together AI, OpenRouter, Ollama and LM Studio. None of these companies has endorsed or sponsored WorkCraft, and none is responsible for it. Their terms and privacy policies govern your use of their services. Claude, an AI model by Anthropic, helps write part of WorkCraft's code; that does not make Anthropic a sponsor or an affiliate of the project.

05Why we name them

Naming the formats and products people already use is the honest way to say what WorkCraft can open, save and connect to. File formats such as .docx, .xlsx, .pptx and .pdf are named for technical interoperability. Nothing on this site should be read as a claim that WorkCraft is, replaces, is licensed by or is compatible in every detail with a named product: it is alpha software, and complex files can lose details.

06Corrections and contact

If you own a name used here and believe the wording is wrong or misleading, tell us and we will fix it quickly: write through the contact page or email [email protected] with the subject [IP Notice] WorkCraft. See also the independence section of the Terms and the takedown contact.
